About Kathleen

A little bit Southern, a little bit punk, a whole lot of rock n roll. I’m a PBR lover, hardcore show corner dweller, and collector of meaningful experiences. Dolly Parton is royalty, Dale Earnhardt is an icon, and if you’re picking up what I’m putting down, we’re going to get along just fine.

I photograph weddings because I believe in legacy. The heirlooms tucked into pockets, the way your partner wipes their eyes when they see you, the button fussing, the dancing, the joy. These are the moments that become part of your family history. That is the good stuff. I live for it.

It is a pleasure, an honor, and a privilege to be a part of these stories.

I’m an interdisciplinary artist, and that shapes how I move through the world. Photography is one part of a much bigger creative language for me. Music, storytelling, visual art, and human connection all inform how I see and document a wedding day. Nostalgia plays a meaningful role in my work because I understand how much photographs come to matter over time. Preserving family history, from wedding portraits to everyday moments, is deeply important to me. This work is about safeguarding the feeling of being loved, exactly as you are, in this season of your life.

You are always worthy of safety, care, and truly unconditional love.

Creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and fully yourselves is of the utmost importance. I am trauma informed and communication focused, which means consent, accessibility, and comfort are always part of the process. From the very beginning, I ask about mobility, sensory needs, and personal boundaries so we can move at your pace, with your values leading the way. Every body, every background, every identity, and every kind of love is welcome and celebrated here.

If you would like to learn more about what being a trauma informed photographer means to me and how it shows up in my work, I share more about that on the blog.

I’m here for you, always!

Are you sold on me? LET'S ROCK N'ROLL!
